As a result principal stress vectors are NOT exported to VTK file and visible under ParaView, and I am not able to enforce orientation to line glyphs along e.g. major principal stress vectors.
...
The problem still exists. I need the stress-vector plot of a concrete-part and tried the tutorial from HarryvL (last pics):
https://wiki.freecadweb.org/Post-Proces ... h_Paraview

But I can only project the stresses onto the displacement.

Does it mean in the vtk exported from FreeCAD is missing something?

Bernd,
have a look at the tutorial from Harry, last two pics:
https://wiki.freecadweb.org/Post-Proces ... h_Paraview

All results are computed and in the vtk, thats not the problem. You can view all in paraview.
When plotting the stress-vectors via glyph-filter, Harry uses the Orientation Array with option "Minor Principal Stress".
When I try this, there is only the "Displacement" to projekt the vectors, nothing else. Which gives a weird result.

Would be great, if you or someone finds a solution for the stress vector.
Think, this could also be helpful for walls with opening (critical areas, crack avoidance)
Some lessons, when we made this manually by using “Ersatzstabwerk” ..forgot most of this ;) ..don`t know the english word. Would be much easier with the support of FC-FEM and paraview..
Here is a link (First up scrolling to the first page, then page 486 select from the contents list)

All PS: Sorry that the book reference is in german language, could not find a better explanation about what I mean...

See https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic. ... 85#p601775. This should work again as before in V20 release. Unfortunately, the fix for unreinforced materials did not make the V20 release, but is easy and will be available in V21 development versions soon.

Unfortunately my knowledge is limited to technical programming. Anything to do with the whole FC eco system is magic to me.
