Lab in a precast concrete building

Post by guido68 »

Hello,
I wanted to share with you this model, it is the lab where I have been working for a long time. I tried to model the precast concrete building construction and a couple of frames we use for structure's testing. Any suggestion on how to better organize the model and its components would be really appreciated.

Guido.

I am glad to hear that. I started to create it a year ago in my spare time to learn how to use FreeCAD, I don't know how long did it take until today :D

Moved thread into user showcase subform.

Can someone make a nice screenshot so we can add it to the original post?

Kunda1, thank you for moving my post in the subforum User Showcase. That's what I wanted to do with my original post. I did not understand why originally it appeared in the Help on using FreeCAD, surely I did something wrong.

I made a compound of a body and a wire extrusion, maybe not the best way to create a component.
Please, could you share your ifc model? I would like to start exploring the BIM module and how it works.
Thank you for posting the screenshot
