Hello everybody,
why not to let 'select object last', to be able to create dimensions easily?
Instead of clicking every time on the icon button for horizontal dimensions, for example, just click once for all horizontal dimensions (like what is in sketch).

Not so practical, no so easy!

I would also like to see this feature implemented. I found discussions about this at least as early as 2016, but i guess it's not exactly a low hanging fruit.
I think the term is "continuous mode".

Yes, we know it from Sketcher, where it is very well appreciated. I would also like to see the greedy selection from Sketcher in TechDraw, because if you have selected a point you will usually select another one as well before adding a dimension. Adding a dimension would then reset the selection.
A Sketcher Lecture with in-depth information is available in English, auf Deutsch, en français, en español.

@wandererfan, is it sensible to add a feature request?

Greetings to the Community!
It is certainly a very useful thing, however a function could be implemented (not only in TechDraw), which can be activated from the preferences, which repeats the last command when the right mouse button is clicked (or left in the case of a left-handed user).
