Sezione Dinamica

Salve
Con Freecad c'è la possibilità di fare una sezione in 3d?
Ho visto che nel modulo Arch c'è lo strumento "Piano di sezione", ma se ho capito bene la sezione viene fatta in 2d.
Uso la versione 0.15 Windows7 64bit

Ciao Pierpaolo,
ci sono vari metodi.
Il piu' semplice è quello di usare il modulo Part ed effettuare una sottrazione booleana usando un cubo "mangiatutto".
Guarda qui come ho rosicchiato la sfera...

Piu' raffinato (sempre usando il modulo Part) e' quello di usare lo strumento Sezione

che più o meno funziona allo stesso modo del precedente ma ha il vantaggio di lasciarti anche la siluette di contatto tra piano sezione ed oggetto che poi può essere usata per altri scopi.

Lo strumento "Piano di sezione" del modulo Arch, che hai cercato di usare, e' piu' orientata a creare delle viste 2d per essere impaginate.

Prima ho dimenticato...
Un altro strumento disponibile in Part è Sezioni che in una unica operazione crea una serie di sezioni parallele.
Inoltre nel menu visualizza si trova lo strumento Piano di taglio
Come ultimo, la versione 0.15 ormai è veramente vecchia, quindi ti consiglio di passare alla 0.16. Basta scaricarla da https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/releases, decomprimerla e avviarla da /bin/FreeCAD.exe

Grazie Mille a tutti!

Mi sarebbe molto utile utilizzare quel tipo di sezione della Macro.
Solo che essendo ai primi passi con Freecad non sono ancora capace di installare una macro.
Potete indicarmi una guida passo passo?

Dimenticavo di dire che uso Freecad anche su un MacBook Pro sempre con la versione0.15
Come mai mi dite di installare la 0.16 ma sul sito l'ultima versione che rilasciano e la 0.15?

o modificato l'originale della macro o aggiunto uno chekbox que permette di conservare la sezione
la macro originale serve solo per la visualizzazione

Come mai mi dite di installare la 0.16 ma sul sito l'ultima versione che rilasciano e la 0.15?
la versione 0.16 e una versione di sviluppo non a bisogne di installazione e e molto più avanzata e bug corretti

Maybe you need a special feature, go into Macros_recipes and Code_snippets, Topological_data_scripting.

Ciao Mario, ho provato la tua nuova versione della macro, ottimo! Ora è possibile salvare sia il contorno della sezione, sia il solido tagliato.
Provvisoriamente aggiungo solo un link nella pagina originale, poi lascio fare a te.

Pierpaolo per installare una macro puoi seguire la guida completa indicata da Mario, ma molto brevemente basta:
dalla barra principale aprire il menu Macro->Macro...->Crea -> inserire un nome a piacere -> dare OK per produrre un campo di testo nell'area di lavoro,
poi selezionare tutto il codice della macro cliccando su "select all" e fare copia incolla nella finestra di FreeCAD,
chiudere la finestra e riavviare FreeCAD,
riaprire Macro->Macro...-> selezionare la macro-> fare click su Esegui
