There is a new Translation subforum, where all topics concerning translations should be discussed.
A Sketcher Lecture with in-depth information is available in English, auf Deutsch, en français, en español.

Wiki and Crowdin. These are indeed rather different, but splitting the forum further seems overkill to me. This is the comment you see in the wiki forum about Translation:
Discuss here everything concerning translations. This includes the wiki as well as the crowdin translations of FreeCAD itself.

good it is not splitted because the wiki depends on Crowdin and vice versa. Crowdin is more capricious than the wiki: I still don't understand the rule behind, sometimes some original texts are no more proposed for update and so on.
