May I point out that you are "misguided" in your assertion that using Assembly 4 is the (only) way to avoid TPN ;)
Good Day,

While we did not assert that assembly 4 is not the only way of avoiding the TPN when working with assemblies, we did like the features/workflow that Assembly 4 has to offer. Hence it was considered when designing the workbench.

However, there has been some development with regards to making body selections that do not depend on what assembly workbench you use.
But for now, Nikra-DAP has combability with Assembly 2 & 4.

Hi Bambuko

The work on the second revision of this workbench will begin towards the end of the year. As you may or may not know, we are also organizing the first Annual FreeCAD Users Conference.

The point of this message is that over these past few months we have looked into Assembly 3 and really love what it offers as compared to the other workbenches. So we will definitely be putting some work into allowing Nikra-DAP to interface with the other Assembly Workbenches too.

Hello Nikra-DAP
Previously FC-Forum post https://forum.freecadweb.org/viewtopic. ... 12#p625812. When multiple bodies are selected to create a sub assembly (in a/ as a) 'Body Definition' The Sub Assembly drifts away from its LCS (Origin was only selectable). Please follow link to all file as an example.

I imagine its early days for you all & this is potentially a one of many bugs to come & go, how ever if the error is my fault I would be happy to produce a video showing others what not to do. And apologise for disturbing you all.

One last thing FC has the amazing potential to be anything we dream, however if we all dream together (IE. Standardise & minimise via gifted developers working together on similar workbenches eg Nikra-DAP / Dynamics, & others ) No-one will be ever able to imagine what comes next - but it will be freedom!

Hello Nikra-dap Team

I tried the simple pendulum in the tutorial.
I was able to run the "animate solution", but when I ran the "plot results", it stopped with an error message.

Here are the error messages
