I have read the Wiki. Professionally I work as a Technical Writer and Illustrator. When the Workbench is released, I can help with the Wiki description if you like. I'm just working on Wiki for FCGear.
Thank you so much. It will be a great contribution.

1. Contour must be a single path with id=contour
2. Midline must be a single path with id=midline
3. IMPORTANT: contour path and midline path MUST intersect in exactly one point.

Invite to FreeCAD (and Free CAE) Users Conference 2023

Good Day @mnesarco

My name is Varnu Govender, I am the assistant to Dr du Plessis at the University of Pretoria, South Africa.

We are organizing the 1st Annual FreeCAD (and Free CAE) Users Conference, which is set to take place in Early 2023.

I have taken interest in your Workbench, and I would love if you could present your work at the conference.

You are welcome to present your workbench in the following manner:
  • Introduction/Overview of your Workbench
  • Run-down on how the workbench operates through the user interface and backend.
  • A tutorial demonstrating the full functionality of the workbench.
  • A showcase of something that has been created/modelled in the workbench.
In addition to this, if you know somebody that might be interested in presenting their work during the conference, please could you refer them to me (@Varnu01.)

I hope to hear from you soon.

Regards
Varnu Govender

Hi @Varnu01 thank you for the invitation. It will be a pleasure to participate. Please send me a reminder about two months before the event to prepare the material.

Cheers,
Frank.

PS. My accent is very Latin, I hope it's not a problem for your audience.

Thank you so much for your response! I will be in touch with you in due course and will certainly send reminders.\

Also, since we're quite a broad community, I have speakers from different parts of the world. As a result I would also expect our audience to be equally broad.

Regards
Varnu

This looks absolutely amazing!
Is there any way that you could add Number of Strings?
I use and would like to be able to build 7-string guitars and possibly 8-string

Thank you!

String number is not important, what you have to set is string distance (from first to last) at nut and at bridge.

Ok, this was the presentation. A bit general because of the limited timeframe:
