Command line tool for extracting parts of .iges-file

Command line tool for extracting parts of .iges-file

Hi all,

I am new to this forum. I would like to import a sub-set of an .iges-file into FreeCAD.

The .iges-file is more than 1 GB and and my FreeCAD croaks on it.

Is there a command line tool, where I can identify and extract only a subset of that file? I don't need all the parts.

On Mac OS.
