So the good news is that the body worked! Thanks so much for that.
The bad news is that due to the chip shortage we can't make any driver boards
So the plan is to use this larger driver that is available:
But it would mean adapting the body. The 'arms' would need to go, and we need to extend the body to fit the three mounting holes on the new larger driver
Does anyone fancy having a go at that?
There is a .stl of the driver board attached.

Seems 9V won't be enough for this controller, need 20V+

Nice one! Really looks great.
I think it should be good down to 14.8v? I'll check with Taylor. We could then use a 4S 14.8V 1800mAh 60C 97*34*35
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001207073909.html mounted above the driver board.
The next thing would be a generic plate that has the same three holes as the driver board so it can attach above the driver on short standoffs.
I would use two of these plates, one to keep the battery away from the driver PCB and another on top of the battery to sandwich it and attach the M5stack/ microcontroller.
It should have mounting holes for M5 stack and also a Micro:bit these have 43.18 holes

I guess the 'legs' holding the driver PCB could be a little shorter too if we're moving the battery on top of the driver?
Thanks again for all your work on this!

So I've ordered the latest version. will use the RP.stl I posted of the board to print the separator.
I'll let you know how it goes

Here is a model for the Battery plate, print two and turn one upside down, for top and bottom plates.
