Niiice, thanks
Could you confirm you're happy to release this under a CERN-P license https://github.com/rosmo-robot/Rosmo_3D ... in/LICENSE ?
I'd attribute by linking to your forum profile here in the readme.

It's OK.
Here is the chassis with the motor, is there only one motor or is it a pair. Which end should the motor be mounted (top or bottom?)

Re: Open Hardware robot - Rosmo - Looking for volunteer(s)
I put the motors in approximately the right location here: https://3dviewer.net#model=https://raw. ... -motor.stl
Files: https://github.com/rosmo-robot/Rosmo_3D ... ain/V2/dev
I think the motors need to be held by this part
Which can be found here: https://github.com/rosmo-robot/Rosmo_3D/tree/main/v1.1

Re: Open Hardware robot - Rosmo - Looking for volunteer(s)
So I did a bit more on this, and I have a few questions.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/tyz4ugdxcrrg1 ... FCStd?dl=0
- How is the motor connected to the tracks?
- I can't seem to download files from the GitHub a/c in Particular I wanted the KicadPCB files to generate the 3D models of the boards.
- I can make the body a little narrower but not much, else it won't assemble easily. (The limiting factor is the motors/brackets.)

Re: Open Hardware robot - Rosmo - Looking for volunteer(s)
This is great! Thanks.. Will the blue motor mounts be bolted to the main chassis with M3 hex bolts, with the nut held in a socket?
The spinning end of the motor has 4x M2 screw holes: https://github.com/rosmo-robot/Rosmo_3D ... nsions.jpg
We should adapt this part by kisolore: https://github.com/rosmo-robot/Rosmo_3D ... easy.FCStd so that it can be screwed directly to the motor.
Note that the whole 'large end' (outer) of the motor rotates, it's only the 'small end' (inner) which is fixed. Will your blue mounts bolt on to the main chassis plate using the same indented nut holders as found on the original part?
I'll grab them now and update this comment shortly. One thing to note is that the motor & encoder wiring protrudes quite a bit from the bottom of the ESC PCB. This should probably therefore come out of the bottom.
Image showing the cable connectors protruding from the ESC board

Rough stack of parts on similar Zumo chassis
https://github.com/rosmo-robot/Rosmo_3D ... -bits.jpeg
So the board should be orientated like this I think
A little narrower would be good if possible. Could you also include the 9v battery, Can that sit between the orange parts? https://www.stlfinder.com/model/9v-batt ... z/3468403/
So if I add the 9v battery I have to move the PCB and orange supports higher to clear it:

Re: Open Hardware robot - Rosmo - Looking for volunteer(s)
The file needs tidying, there's lots of superfluous cruft in it, if it's near to the mark.
