Transparent mode background question

Post by akshimassar »

Hi,

I'm trying to get clean look for my freecad and tried several tutorial but not getting there. Everything works, except for combo view background. It's not completely transparent when the mouse is over the 3d view, however once I hover over combo view, background becomes transparent.

How can I get to be always transparent?

Preference -> General -> Overlay style sheet, selection 'Dark-Outline'.
Try Assembly3 with my custom build of FreeCAD at here.

But side panel looks terrible until I hover over it.

It's the same for 2022.04.03 release and 2022.07.04

I don't quite understand. I mean your screenshoot below is transparent. Or do you mean when you mouse over it, it because not transparent? Can you please capture a screencast showing the problem? Can you also post your FreeCAD About information here? And your user configurations, Tools -> Edit parameters -> Export

Disable the following option to get the correct behavior. This option is obsolete. I'll remove it.
