Can you provide these versions for the release as well, as soon as it becomes official? I guess the BigSur variant will not run on 10.15 and below, so we have to provide 3 versions?

Ok, I wasn't sure. Your commit is newer than the revision of FreeCAD.
It only changes the start-file (adding the environment variable before launching freecad). The build is done in a seperate step so therefor the freecad-version is older.

We still have the assembly3 workbench included which slows the startup a little bit.
Testing the freecad dmg (conda) on an imac in the store. Seems like it is working quite well. I had no issues with the menu-bar, and also the trackers (pivy graphics) worked smooth (In previous tests I always experienced slow interaction with pivy tracker objects).

why should I buy one if you can work from the store . But I have to admit that I would like to have one
