1000 thanks. that is the solution. does it make sense to use this setting and the import setting: allow invalid shapes to set as default out of the box?
Yes and yes. We have seen a few examples where the geometry on ifc export is wrong if not forced as BREP. But "force as BREP" should export correct in any case!!! If not I would be really interested and spend time to fix it. If you set "allow invalid shape" you need to take into account some objects could have invalid shapes.

To have the correct geometry in ifc even if "force BREP" is not used would be cool too, but we have seen few cases with problems already. It needs much more time to fix them.

Would the code know if it fail when it is Not 'force BREP' ?

Then the code automagically switch to 'force BREP' ?

Thanks.
