Hello everybody.
When projecting a view, the hidden lines that are on the same level (behind each other in the direction of projection) looks like a continuous line in some places.
is there a way to fix this by showing the lines as just dashed one.
Dashed hidden lines over each other looks like a continus line

There are two lines overlapping. Because when you deviate a side view of slot, you get two overlapping lines.mwlandolsi wrote: ↑Sat Jun 11, 2022 10:04 pm is there a way to fix this by showing the lines as just dashed one.
So have to hide one line.
Just said, there are only very few CAD programms, that handle that.

Thanks for your replay. could this be configured to be by default one line not tow overlapped ?

No, as i said, FreeCAD can not handle that. What it easy to guess for a human, which is the correct line to hide, is impossible for a computer. There are ways to handle that completely different, not through hiding, but FreeCAD can not this at the moment. And as i said, not many CAD can handle that anyway.mwlandolsi wrote: ↑Sat Jun 11, 2022 10:55 pm could this be configured to be by default one line not tow overlapped ?

/workaround/ Try using a section view, can't have hidden lines when everything is visible.mwlandolsi wrote: ↑Sat Jun 11, 2022 10:55 pm Thanks for your replay. could this be configured to be by default one line not tow overlapped ?
