It works if you split the B-spline. I have inserted here wo straight segments, to get the tangents. Note that file size dropped dramatically.

thanks chrisb for your suggestion, it remains an approximation of my part but should probably go well for a technical drawing.
In that case I maintain two parts, the real one for 3D printing, and the approximate one for technical drawing.

The lines (edges) are in the 3D model as the boundaries of the faces in the lofted shape. You can't easily remove them in TechDraw.

You can make them thinner by changing the thickness of the lines at the view level.

thanks, and thanks for developing this nice workbench!
the thin lines is also something I tried, but then all lines will be affected.
I think so far the spline option is my best bet :)
