Issue encountered - Copy+Paste not working - Transform of curve

While attempting to use a solution proposed by another user, my installation did not seem to behave as was expected.

The earlier post in another forum providing the details and model snapshot used for the operation are posted at

Specifically I could not copy a number from a text file and paste that number into the appropriate field of the pop-up window used for the specification of the user-specified rotation axis.

For me it is repeatable. I have tried multiple times and it refuses to allow pasting the value every time.
