Getting Started
Hi. Can anyone point me to a easy to understand tutorial for a complete CAD novice. Thanks and best wishes.
Re: Getting Started
Check this section of the wiki: Tutorials.
There are also several good YouTube channels with tutorials for FreeCAD users:

Re: Getting Started
I would recommend the PartDesign Tutorials, but that depends heavily on what you want to model. The range goes from architecture to models for machining, from airplane wings to spoons.retired_novice wrote: ↑Wed Aug 17, 2022 3:55 pm Hi. As the Sketcher is a basis for many workbenches, I recommend of course to read the lecture in my signature .
A Sketcher Lecture with in-depth information is available in English, auf Deutsch, en français, en español.
