Didn't seem like there was a way for me to put multiple unrelated pads, revolutions, etc. into the same body but maybe I'm missing something.

Vast majority of my previous CAD experience was in CREO Parametric.

PD WB has a single solid rule, each body should consist of a single contiguous solid. If they are not intended to be from a single piece of material then they should be in separate bodies.

Some light reading:-

Thanks, just read thru that. Didn't really realize what was going on between them.

CREO had "part" and "assembly" so I was thinking of them like that, but that's not quite right.

Why is the bottom view cocked to one side when the rotation is 0 and the directions are unit vectors?

TD WB takes the view in the 3D view window, make that isometric and it should be good, if I read the question correctly.

I fully support Bance's one-body-approach. For the sake of completeness I return to the OP question: The Union succeeds, if I move the Support 10µm in Z-direction.

IDK, what I just wrote above seemed to go away on its own when I changed my model. Now the "support" part and the rest of it is in the same body.

Can someone please tell me how to adjust the scale on this view? I change this and NOTHING happens :(

Thanks

For some modifications in TechDraw, you need after to use TechDraw_RedrawPage.

Thanks Shalmeneser, redraw page fixed it. IDK why that is not done automatically, when most of the other properties are.
