Merge extrusion with body

Post by scottvan »

Hello, this is my first FreeCAD project. I am trying to merge some extrusions with the body, but cannot figure out how. I had made a sketch on the surface of a part and extruded it, but it didn't automatically merge like I thought it would. Will someone point me in the right direction? I've tried searching for an answer and have not come up with one. I have attached the FCStd file. Thank you.

Do not mix worbenches if you don't know why.

A solution only with PartDesign :
* I've moved the Path to use the axis.
* I've use a Binder to keep the position of the path.
