Re: Need suggestions for Geometry cleanup options in FreeCAD software
I don't have permission to upload the files.
it is a kind of bracket, before doing mesh we used to do geometry cleanup.
we want to do geometry cleanup by this software, mainly splitting the big surface into some small surfaces, removing the unwanted lines.
for splitting i have tried with Boolean operations, but it didn't worked.
Do u have any idea about it?

if you can create a demo file and upload it i can try it
Re: Need suggestions for Geometry cleanup options in FreeCAD software
If you cannot upload the file, you have to tell us more or even better: upload a preferably simple mockup showing the same issues.
- is it a solid?
- is it a mesh?
- are the surfaces plane or curved?
Besides that, make yourself familiar with the booleans. In Part workbench they work excellent, even with non solids. Just saying "it didn't work" is insufficient, if we don't know what "it" is.
