Complaint appears illogical to me.

If you have a mirrored feature, you can't really expect to be able to modify the underlying generator geometry seperately. That's requesting a parametric modeler to act non-parametric?

in part it is parametrically possible

Then I don't understand the request.

it should only be a hint that it is possible in freecad. in case someone tries it in partdesign and would otherwise give up

you can also use Sheetmetal BaseBend and Miror

I don't understand. Both Part and PartDesign mirrors are parametric.
A Sketcher Lecture with in-depth information is available in English, auf Deutsch, en français, en español.

Yes, but a lot of time can be saved if the mirroring largely corresponds to what is mirrored, but changes or extensions are necessary

I doubt that.

The mirrored side should completely correspond to the original side or I wouldn't call it mirrored.

And if a mirrored part should be extended it makes no sense to do that on sketch level.
If it has its own sketch it is not a really a mirrored object, but rather an identically built object with mirrored sketch geometry.

Same solution as @papyblaise. You don't need to modify the original sketch.
(Do I need to do a Fusion ?)

I'm probably misunderstood. the founder of a mechanical engineering company complained about wasting cad time because in Inventor you couldn't create sketch-level modifications or extensions in a mirroring. I will start a new thread and make a video for it to show an example of what is meant.
