Re: draft/sketch problems
Dunno if this is a bug but in the draw module when I draw a rectangle and then press join (the up arrow icon) the rectangle becomes a face but when I do the same on a circle nothing happens.

Re: draft/sketch problems
Ohh forgot another one. The help function seems not having any content anymore.
Is it possible to edit the posts instead of writing new ones

Re: draft/sketch problems
Yes it is possible, but you need to be logged in (create a sourceforge account and use it on this forum)
About the help system actually you're right, on my system it also doesn't open... I'll investigate.

AHHH!
Sorry for spamming this thread!
I have a sourceforge account.
Have I to use the sourceforge username in the "Username" field when writing a post?
(cado is not my sourceforge username)
Or am I just blind cause I can't see the edit button.

Re: draft/sketch problems
You need to use the "Log in" link on the top left corner, above the forum, under the "Visit project Free-cad" link.
About the join command, sorry I hadn't seen your post.
Yes, actually it shouldn't do that for the rectangle (I'll fix it). All Draft shapes are now already faces. You just need to change their display mode between wireframe & flat lines (there is also a command in the menu to switch). They might appear as wireframe, but internally they all have a face already (at least when they are closed).
If you mark the "Filled" button when drawing shapes, they will be in Flat Lines mode already.

Re: draft/sketch problems
Sometimes even if you are logged in on sourceforge, you can be logged out on the forum. Simply close the browser and open everithing again to log in on forum. It might be a bug or something

Re: draft/sketch problems
Found some time for a bug hunting session.
I found some bugs (will submit to mantis) but I also have some issues I don*t know if they are bugs or not supported features.
So here are my questions:
# in Sketcher
There is a "Snap Grid" option but when I turn it on the points are not snapped to the grid.
Is it possible to change the value of the distance constraint atm?
FreeCAD_0.11.3987_x86_unstable_setup.msi
@pperisin
will post without logging in. -> faster, less problems
