I have the dollowing:

As seen on last image, I need the distances to mark for cutting. I see no easy way to do this in freecad, any suggestions.

I can export then open in librecad and work on it, but looking for a way in freecad, thanks.

None of the following is allowing any snaps, I thought the skeleton would allow but it doesn't

Hi and welcome to the forum!

TechDraw is not an additional sketching or drafting tool, it can almost only show something that exists in 3D. You can try if additional cosmetic lines can help or you create e.g. a sketch or you use Part>CrossSection to create an appropriate object in 3D space.
A Sketcher Lecture with in-depth information is available in English, auf Deutsch, en français, en español.
