Re: Challenges?
Use Blend_Curve to adjust a smooth continuity. G2 or G3 give the better continuity.

Re: Challenges?
Hi, @thomas-neemann I saw your challenge and it inspired me to create feature for irregular shapes:
Dealing with rotation and irregular shapes is not easy thing because in real-life you usually get something like this:

Re: Challenges?
thanks for the cooperation. how long would the construction take with this method?
Re: Challenges?
Now there are too many elements that should be made with Sketch... so I didn't make full construction, this might be long to make it precised. I saw there are also some screws... but creating box if you have those two sides made with Sketch is just selecting vertices and click button, similar to Draft but you don't have to cklick extrude the wire, several seconds per box. If you are familiar with Draft and make mirror like you did, it might be even quicker. But the floor of the box should be from one rectangle piece and without cut edges... the details takes a lot of time.thomas-neemann wrote: ↑Tue Oct 04, 2022 5:24 am how long would the construction take with this method?
But this is great challenge and good sample for woodworking workbench improvements... so I have good sample for further testing and improvements and maybe someday this will be quick and realistic...
Thanks

Re: Challenges?
we are looking for the fastest workflow for this bike stand
Re: Challenges?
Less than 10 minutes:
1. Body for the path curve. -> Binder
2. Body for the object.
- Binder + Sketch (circle) + Additive Pipe -> bent bar
- Bar + Thickness (inward) -> pipe
