How to multiselect 2 entire parts / LCS from 3D-View ?

Post by DerAndere1 »

Hi,

I would like to select two PartDesign::LocalCoordinateSystem (LCSs) from the 3D-View. How do I add the second local coordinate system to the selection?

The following only selected individual axes of the second LCS:

1. Double-click on an axis of the first LCS (LCS_1) to select the complete LCS_1
2. [Ctrl + left-click] on the second LCS (LCS_2). Now the complete LCS_1 is selected, but only the clicked axis of LCS_2 is added to the selection.
3.a) [Ctrl + left-click] again on the same axis of LCS_2. Now LCS_2 axis is deselected.

A workaround which does not satisfy me was to replace step 3.a) with the folling:
3.b) Hold Ctrl key + double-click on the (highlighted) entry "LCS_2" in the Combo-View Model tree

My setup:
