FreeCAD resizes wrong when opening/creating project

I installed FreeCAD today for the first time and tried to open a .STEP file.
After that the project has been loaded the window completely resized/zoomed wrong and now every button/textbox etc. is blurry.
The position detection for every button has also moved (see screenshots)
If I restart FreeCAD everything is normal again until I open or create a project

I also tried to just create a new project and it also happened there.

I tried version 0.18 and 0.18.3 and the problem still occurs.

I'm using Windows 10 64 bit 1703 with FreeCAD build 16131 (Git)
Btw I have a EliteDisplay E240 as pc-screen

Are you also experiencing this issue?

It's a bit disturb, it's alway like that, but when you save a config, thith never change when reopen , and each workbanch have the proper toolsbar

I also downloaded FreeCAD on my personal computer and I have no problems so I assume its a bug or something.

"It's a bit disturb, it's alway like that" I dont think that you see the problem. This forum isn't made for big images cause you can't see the bluriness in it (yes, the whole window is really blurry/not sharp).

I try to explain the problem more clearly:
If I open a project or create one the window seems to some sort zoom in and everything gets blurry/not sharp. The whole upper toolbar has disappeard because of this zoom and theres no way to reach it.
Even if I grab the window and then dock it onto the whole screen again nothing will change.

Tomorrow I will upload the image to a website so you can see it in full size, then you will notice that this isn't right.

What is you GFX card brand & model ?
IIRC I already saw such a thing on the forum. I'll try to find it back.

Sorry for multiple posting.
As a first step could you please :

• Try to reset your user.cfg and system.cfg files (move or delete it) ? IIRC, location for Windows is in %APPDATA%\Roaming\FreeCAD\
• Verify if the Py2Qt4 version of 0.19 found here also have the problem ?

I don't have any external graphics card in my work place just the Intel HD Graphics 630 which comes from the Intel Core i5-7500 3.40 GHz.

- The Py2Qt4 version of 0.19 is working but it is really slow in the startup compared to the 0.18 version. No more "zooming in" on this one.
- Your second method didn't work for 0.18, still "zooming in".

Looks like one of this problem with Qt5 + Intel HD GFX combo.
First you can check that your GFX drivers are the latest release.
Then it's worth testing the LP_12.1.2 Py3Qt5 version from the link I previously gave (be careful not to take the Conda one).
Not sure it will solve the problem, but Qt5.12.1 has solved some issues.

The driver of the GFX is up to date.
I downloaded the "FreeCAD_0.19.17433_x64_LP_12.1.2_PY3QT5-WinVS2015.7z" but this version is worse.

Now the "zoom in" is already active when I start the program and still persists when I open or create a project (see screenshot).
Also the hovering detection of the buttons is not where the buttons are (see second screenshot ^^)

Compared to Intel website, or PC manufacturer one ? We see most times here that drivers are actually not.

Really not sure, but maybe applying tips described on this post may help.
