Simple statue

Post by Agentkayy »

Description: Water closet, most of us pray it everyday
Usage: To dump our loads

OS: Microsoft Windows 10
Freecad version: 0.19.4

Image

Notes: All steps is in part designer workbench, all unit are in meters(m) unless mentioned, sorry USA, Liberia and Burma.

How I done it:
  1. Bowl
    1. Create an additive box with
      • Length of 0.365
      • Width of 0.68
      • Height of 0.415
    2. Create a subtractive box with
      • Length of 0.365
      • Width of 0.5
      • Height of 0.015
      • Reference at top of the previous box (box)
      • Y = 0.18
      • Z = -0.015
    3. Create a datum line at
      • X = 0.1825
      • Y = 0.4975
    4. Create a sketch at X/Z plane
      • Attachment Offset
        • X = 0
        • Y = 0.4975
        • Z = 0
      • Create an edge linked to an external geometry with the bottom line of the subtractive box (box001)
      • Create a horizontal line at X-axis with a length of 0.0325
      • Create an arc with
        • Radius of 0.06
        • Angle of ½π rad or 90 deg
      • Create an arc with
        • Radius of 0.1825
      • Fix the center of longer radius arc onto the external geometry line
      • Fix an end of the longer radius arc onto left end of the external geometry line
      • Fix the other end of the longer radius arc onto one of the end of the shorter radius arc
      • Create a tangent constrain with the 2 arcs
      • Connect the other end of the shorter radius arc with a line to the horizontal line
      • Create a tangent constrain with the new line and the smaller arc
      • Create a vertical line that connect the horizontal line and the end of longer radius arc that fixed onto external geometry line
    5. Groove the sketch (Sketch) with
      • Axis at the datum line(DatumLine)
      • Angle of π rad or 180 deg
      • ✅Check reversed
    6. Create another sketch on left side surface
      • Create an edge linked to an external geometry with top left point of the additive box (box)
      • Create an edge linked to an external geometry with bottom left point of the additive box (box)
      • Create an arc with
        • Radius of 0.1
      • Create a vertical constrain with one of the end the arc and its center
      • Create a horizontal constrain with the other end of the arc and its center
      • Connect the top end of the arc to its center with a vertical line
      • Create a vertical line that connect the arc's center and the bottom left point of the additive box (box)
      • Create a horizontal line starting from the bottom left point of the additive box (box)
      • Create another vertical line that connect the rear end of the arc and the other end of the horizontal line
      • Fix the vertical distance between two points or line ends with
        • top left point of the additive box (box)
        • the top end of the arc
        • Distance of 0.08
    7. Pocket the sketch above (Sketch001)
      • Type = To first
      • Offset = 0
    8. Create pocket with
      • The surface created by grooving the first sketch (Sketch) (Face 5)
      • The other surface surface created by the groove (Face 14)
  2. Tank
    1. Create an additive box with
      • Length of 0.365
      • Width of 0.18
      • Height of 0.31
      • Reference at the higher top face of the bowl (Pocket002:Face2)
      • X = 0
      • Y = 0.18
  3. Tank lid
    1. Create an additive box with
      • Length of 0.38
      • Width of 0.2
      • Height of 0.035
      • Reference at the top of the tank
      • X = 0.0075
      • Y = 0.01
      • Z = 0
  4. Bowl lid
    1. Create an additive cylinder with
      • Radius of 0.1825
      • Height of 0.035
      • Angle of π rad or 180 deg
      • Reference at lower top face of the bowl (Pocket002:Face7)
      • X = 0.1825
      • Y = 0.3175
      • Z = 0
    2. Create an additive box with
      • Length of 0.365
      • Width of 0.24
      • Height of 0.035
      • Reference at lower top face of the bowl (Pocket002:Face7)
      • X = 0
      • Y = 0.0775
      • Z = 0

Priceless! Lol. Please visit my Showcase Entry (ThreadMaker). It may help with the plumbing. :-)
To get it we must want it. To keep it we must give it away. To give it away we must truly get it.

Unfortunately I don't know the internal dimensions and I don't have spares that I can measure it nor do I have proper tool.

This model is only for Interior design purpose, need to find a more detailed tech draw or a spare real model.

Do forum rules allow me to ask if this is the Russian Statue of Liberty?

Assembly language format, feel free to post it to FreeCAD wiki tutorials.

PS I found out most tutorial isn't based on everyday objects.

For such a toilet, an other flow is to use a pipe :

This would be very funny if it wasn't so damn serious!

May I interest you in a Reverse-Auto-Plunger? It is easily sized to fit the center, bottom of any toilet bowl. Such an important statue should be self-cleaning.

Edit: Ok, ok. Sorry for shamelessly plugging my own showcase project in your project thread. Also sorry for using the phrase 'shamelessly plugging' in the context of this thread. :-)
