Oops, indeed the Add-on Manager is recently revamped, no more 'configure' :roll:

Sorry I brought this up here but somehow off-topic here, can you try 'Manual Installation' at the moment, maybe discuss private or a new topic :D

Chennes provided the answer :)

"Those preferences were moved to the main FreeCAD preferences dialog."

Thanks for trying to help, but your advice is too generic and non descriptive, im looking for something in depth,
with comentary and explanations.
