hello
how does the section plane produce the negative z axis direction (slab plane), i could produce the foundation plane but i don't understand how to produce the slab plane
thank you

Re: the negative Z axis Direction in Section plane
If I understand correctly. I think you need to create another section plane through the element that you want to show. Also. if you want to change de direction of the section you can rotate it.FATHI RAMMAH wrote: ↑Sun Mar 24, 2019 11:26 pm hello

Axis-X = 1
Axis-Y = 0
Axis-Z = 0 ... to turn the plane 'upside-down'?

Re: the negative Z axis Direction in Section plane
See the problem... do you do the same thing?
Section plane can produce plan and elevation / vertical section - I add another 'TopView', 'SectionView' , which are fine in TechDraw.
Add a 'BottomView' with rotation 'upside-down', then in TechDraw only have 'outline' of slab I think ...
Should be a 'Bug / Feature not implemented' ?
Maybe @Regis have some idea?

Re: the negative Z axis Direction in Section plane
I don't see any problem.
'BottomView' section only contains the slab object. Do you want to include the pillars? Then you must add them.
.
.
.
But I don't understand why he needs an upside down section view. It is not very common. If the user wants to show the slab with a section view, he must select the slab object and then click on section command. The section will show the slab only (a square). If he needs to show the location of the pillars, he should include in the section view the axes. But the point of view is always from the top. Anyway, he could include a section view that shows slab and pillars, if he wants that. Just selects the slab and column objects and click on section view command. Then, he must rotate the section upside down, as paulle explained.

Re: the negative Z axis Direction in Section plane
Ohhh. I see. He wants to include the beams.
It's the same. He must select the slab and all the beams elements. Then, create the section view containing all these elements. And then, he can rotate the section view upside down.
