Are those HTML tags normal ?

When I translate workbench files, some items contain a lot of HTML tags. For example, there is one item as the follows:
xml.png
xml.png (208.04 KiB) Viewed 1394 times
This one contains a lot of HTML tags that make it very difficult to translate.

Normally I will restore these HTML tags to the translated item. However, I feel strange about it.

Is this normal ? Or the HTML tags should be removed as well ?

Yes, this is normal. Just translate the non-HTML strings. In the future we hope to remove said tags but for now, we need to just workaround that.

pmlee, one hint which can help you:
- open an other Crowdin page
- change the language (choose German, Polish, French or Spanish)
- type write the mysterious sentence
- and use the given translation in the previous selected language in your prefered translation tool: it can give you ideas about translation because sometimes the English master is obscur.

Maybe I can help a little, too. :D

The Crowdin interface makes it easy to preview translations into another language.
Just click on the triangle next to "OTHER LANGUAGES".

By the way, I'm killing two birds with one stone.
David the screenshot also relates to your problem.

in my previous post, when I say change the language, I am refering to the top left corner of the screenshot of Kaktus. We have access to the real translations of the GUI written by the guys.
