Welcome and thanks for the offer!
Do you have something special in mind where you want to work on?
A Sketcher Lecture with in-depth information is available in English, auf Deutsch, en français, en español.

I would recommend to start with translations. Which causes a learning as well :) .

Really, the page below could be a proper starting point.

Hi
I got your PM, your account already existed, but I changed the user permissions to allow you to edit and translate wiki pages.

I have been a bit slow because I have been busy in my non-FreeCAD world. If you are curious, I live in the Australian outback, which is a rather large empty place. Each return trip from my old farm to my new house and back again is 1100km which according to Google maps is a greater distance than the entire length of Italy. :) I think you are Italian, right? That distance is only a small distance across the state of NSW. It takes me 7 hours of driving if I don't stop, each way. I have been moving for months, about 3 trips per months so am utterly exhausted with the matter. But now I have finished!!! Yippee! If you are wondering why I am moving, it is because I love my wife more than anything else, she has a new job on the coast, and I love her enough to follow her to the "end of the earth". "End if the earth" is a funny thing to say because I suspect that some of you Europeans would think the remote outback is pretty much "the end of the earth"! We looked at many jobs including some in the remote outback. Although it was not the most remote outback location that we looked at, I posted some photos and anecdotes of one of our trips last a bit over a year ago to a reasonably remote area, if you are curious have a look at this

best wishes and thank you in advance for any translation or other wiki work.

Hi Jim,
many thanks for your wonderful PM.

Yes I am Italian. You are right, my country is a drop of water in comparison of your country.

Anyway I appreciate a lot the reason of your long trip: stay close to people we love is the best gift we give them.

Regards
