A2+ Shaft Added

Post by devils4ever »

I am using A2+ to build a clock and have an issue with a shaft being added by the A2+ workbench. Initially, I added the wheel and it was fine. I updated the model and it grew a shaft. I've tried deleting it and adding it back, but the shaft seems to reappear. See photos.

I started a new document with A2+ workbench and added the same part. The shaft is still there. Very weird.

Anyone know how to resolve this?

Can you attach the part file?

The shaft is an endmill that more than likely was made transparent in the part file and became visible in the a2+ file. If you highlight the shaft and hit the spacebar it will toggle between visible and in-visible. You can delete it if you want to. or perhaps keep it invisible.

The endmill is from the Path workbench and is invisible there. If I select the shaft in the A2+ workbench and hit the space bar, the entire part becomes invisible.

Open the part file and highlight the Endmill in the tree list and hit the space bar. It should then become visible. Delete the shaft in the part file and update it in A2.

Thanks for the A2+ assembly file. I also had to delete all the other transparent features in the part file before it updated in the assembly file. The transparent features are outlined in green in the picture.
