AP-04-018 is the Idler Shaft. I have added one only AP-04-019 Idler Flange. I got two for the price of one. :o

I am not delighted. I really only want the one and it should be the one on the right. Something else goes on the left end of the shaft.

How do I get rid on the left-hand one so I can concentrate on rotating the right-hand one so the keyway lines up properly?

Thanks

You have the original visible in the Parts folder. Hide that.
Locate the link on the proper end of the shaft with the appropriate LCS or attachment offset.

You should use more often PartDesign_Revolution and perhaps PartDesign_WizardShaft
AP-04-018 is nearly symmetric ?

Using PartDesign Revolution for a simple shaft seems a bit fiddly to me - all those dimensions to define. Perhaps its because of a trade background rather than a design background that I prefer to take a lump of material and cut bits off it.

Nearly, but not quite. Done that way because it is attached on the basis of the YZ plane.

I appreciate your tutorial instincts. Thanks. Your comments are always studied and valued.
