Hi,
I've got an assembly4 model, a floor framing, from which I'd like to cut away a slanted portion (reflecting the sloped floor), and I was wondering if for this very purpose I could facilitate a datum plane, set at the required angle?
If so how would I then go about cutting away from the frame everything below said plane?

Re: Assembly4 model: cut using datum plane?
I may not be quite sure what you plan to.
But assembly model is normally used to simulate movements. So if your parts change like your desired cut you could do that in your designed part.
If this part has been put into your asm4 model by a link the linked part will automatically change as well.
