We have successfully completed GSoC 2020!! :D

Thanks @Bernd, @HoWil and @Kkremitzki for being such great mentors and helping me throughout the project.
Thanks to the whole FreeCAD community for accepting me with open arms and helping me get comfortable with FreeCAD.

Of course we are not completely done with the project yet so I will stick around and see through to it.
And even after we are done with this project, I will like to stay and contribute to FreeCAD.

Cheers :D

Congrats to everyone including the whole community!
Question: Are these FEM examples going to be featured on the FreeCAD Startpage ?

Thanks @Kunda1 :)

No, the examples are part of the FEM Workbench and are accessible only inside of it.
You go like this:

1. Load FEM WB
2. Utilities -> Open FEM Examples
3. A GUI opens up and you chose the example from the various categories.

Oh, wouldn't it make sense to also make them available via the Start WB though?

Where is the documentation regarding how to utilize these examples (beside pushing the 'Run' button) in the FEM Example dialog ?

I will leave that decision to Bernd.

There is the GUI command documentation: https://wiki.freecadweb.org/FEM_Examples
And then one to run an example and post process the results: https://wiki.freecadweb.org/FEM_Example ... _Two_Balls
