Re: Draft_ShapeString fails to Path_Vcarve with particular font
Had some time last night - 'seems we're trying to create a parabola with a focal length of nan. I need to create some debugging visualisation tools to figure out how this happens.
Re: Draft_ShapeString fails to Path_Vcarve with particular font
PR-7278 fixes the behaviour. I think voronoi generates two invalid cells for some of the faces - but I'm not an expert, so maybe they are valid and I just don't understand what they are for.
Also, this font is not particularly well suited for v-carving at this size. The shapes are jagged which produce some milling artifacts. The generated Path seems correct but the wall finishing might not be the best in these areas. It gets quite a bit better by adjusting colinearity and discretisation.
Anyway - thanks for reporting, v-carve is more robust now.
