(Solved) I'm confused by 0.20s Tool system

The way tools are handled seems to have changed substantially from 0.19 to 0.20 and I have problems creating new tools. I manage to create a new tool entry, but I don't know how to define its geometry. Is there a tutorial or a write-up somewhere?
