[Done] releasing FreeCAD 0.20.1
I fixed the tag and reset it. It is now correctly pointing to the 0-20 branch.
Please build from the 0.20.1 tag again.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Re: releasing FreeCAD 0.20.1
are we going to get an appimage for this version? On the flatpak side 0.20.1 is currently on the beta repo, I assume it's ok to put it on stable right?

Why there is no Linux Appimages for 0.20.1adrianinsaval wrote: ↑Mon Aug 15, 2022 5:11 pm are we going to get an appimage for this version? On the flatpak side 0.20.1 is currently on the beta repo, I assume it's ok to put it on stable right?
This is becaming annoying as also for 0.19.4 there were no Linux build.
Sadly I could help in building things, and not even compile FC myself due to my limited horsepower (an old i3 2100).
There is a reason of this choices or it simply vacation time.

Re: releasing FreeCAD 0.20.1
Maybe a stupid question...
Why don't we call the release the moment we able to create the different packages. Now we create a release and then the work for creating the packages is done.
What we call now release can be something like fix source(code) or whatever.

Re: releasing FreeCAD 0.20.1
I did not make yet an announcement nor is the new version at our homepage. Technically we have to set the 0.20.1 tag in the code. Then we create the release builds from that. And that's where we are.
Re: releasing FreeCAD 0.20.1
thanks for the explanation!
