[decided] can we remove Travis?

Post by uwestoehr »

In a PR someone recently asked why we still have Travis code in master despite we are neither using it nor planning to use it in the future.

I think we can remove this and created PR: https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/pull/7238

Is there any objection?

If we really need them they will be available in the history so IMO it's fine to remove it, similarly the conda stuff in the repo is not used anymore (looo confirmed this) so it should be removed too.

I agree - it's easy enough to re-add it if we need it later, but that doesn't seem very likely right now.
