I would like to help, but I'm not sure what I should do.

I looked at the upstream tickets on the OCC forum, but I'm not 100% sure how to "bump" them
(I saw a bump button on the freecad bugtracker, but I'm not sure if that's what I have to do or how to do it :? )

Yes, I have an account now :)

I didn't want to spam you with questions, but I was not sure how "to bump" the issues. The closest thing I saw was "send a reminder", but I don't think that's what you meant. Sorry, I'm new at collaborating with open source projects :?

Just for clarity: You don't need to sign the CLA, if all you are doing is participating in the bug tracker. The only time you need to sign the CLA is if you are actually submitting code.

Didn't know that. Their forum sign-up is broken if you try to sign in with github. Now I can't unregister my account..lol

There has been very little activity in the git repo since this 7.7.0 commit
Looks like upstream has bumped some pending tickets to v7.8.0
I guess they're getting ready to release pretty soon.
