Re: 0.10 splashscreen
The repository for example data is here: http://freecad-project.de/svn/ExampleData/ Cool... you already showed that repository but I had forgotten... I'll think about building some files to add there, but curiously since last time we talked I had almost no more CAD work to do :| I think we need a m...

Re: 0.10 splashscreen
Yeah, sure! we really need to build an examples repository... I just re-uploaded the file with CC license info. Where is that exampledata collection? I think it is a good idea to have a specific license field, because it would help people to think: "what will be the license of my file?" an...

Re: Assembly possibilities?
Actually would be cool one of these days to implement a copy/paste system... Why not begin with something simple, then extend as needed? Like, simply, you copy an object, then you can paste it in the same document or in another, like if you were doing something like this: # copy clipboard = [] for o...

Yes, unfortunately the python documentation is still almost non-existent...

Re: artifacts in part view
I'm trying more or less the same path actually. I'm architect too, and I'm -slowly- working on a blender->freecad->blender workflow... The part I'm doing now is a good and optimized way to convert meshes, coming from blender (exported as .obj, works very well now) to part objects. Meshes must of cou...

Re: artifacts in part view
What Werner means I think is that if you want to output meshes from parts automatically, you cannot control where the vertices will be. Now, anything is possible, but you'd probably need to do some coding yourself if you need precise result. FreeCAD can work with 2 basic kinds of objects: meshes, wh...
