Re: Edge intervals in a solid
This is exactly what I was looking for. Exported a 3D-file into Aspire and everything was just like it should, except for the unwanted bump. You can split, rotate and invert(for making a mould) when importing into the router program, so importing the complete bulb gives you all what you need. Great...

Re: make _ underscore visible in freecad editor
if i go from another window to freecad it appears again regardless of marker position if this marker goes over the line with _ from underneath it disappears and behaves like I wrote above Lots of underscores here: editorUnderscore.png Check Edit>Preferences>General>Editor. Maybe a different font wi...

Re: how to edit drawings
so in v.17 should i start new drawings with the drawing work bench? will old drawings open in v.17 so i can edit them in the new work bench? Your terminology is confusing us. If you made it in the Sketcher, then you made a sketch, not a "drawing". Sketches are meant to be turned into 3D o...

Re: How to delete a 2D part from a 3D construct
Just a guess without the model. Try turning visibility off (spacebar) on everything except the last shape you created.

Re: Edge intervals in a solid
I think you will have to loft around the circumference instead of along the axis to avoid a sharp point or flat surface at the end. Is this what you're looking for? revintage_longLoft.png I added a column to your data for a point midway between minor and major axis points, created 3 wires from the d...

Re: how to edit drawings
my question is how do I see the original drawing I did in part workbench so I can make changes to it. Is this what you are looking for? Just double-click on Sketch001 in the Tree to enter Sketch edit mode. You might want to turn visibility off(space bar) on some items in the Tree to see better. edi...

Re: Custom drawing template filename messed when reopening FreeCAD
Template is named "A4_Landscape_Ari.svg", but when I reopen FreeCAD, it is trying to open "C:/Program Files/FreeCAD 0.16/data/Mod/Drawing/Templates/A4_Landscape_Ari1.svg". Why it appends "1" after my template name? This happens every time, even different projects when ...

Re: Tech Draw Navigation and general questions
I was scared of doing that in a script as I am a newbie and wanted to make sure it works reliably. Tuning off the page "keep updated" on pages not being worked on really speeds up the process. You may want to post this to the naysayers about techdraw. Naysayers?!! We have naysayers?? We a...

Re: TechDraw Custom Template - Inkscape Version
I've attached the original template and the 'new' (literally just opened in Inkscape and then SaveAs). "Corrected" version of your template attached. Fixed version: </g> <!-- DrawingContent --> </svg> Just needed a newline added. I've also noticed that although I've selected a new templat...
