Not strictly true. I often see all cores fully loaded when doing mesh operations.

Re: Crash when loading the Mesh workbench

I tried several of the very recent LP versions, and I did not see any problems. Re: subtractive loft not showing when shaded

I looked at the file (in Windows) with several versions of FC, including different versions of QT and OCC. Never saw any sign of a problem.

It is conceivable that this is a result of a graphics driver problem. Any "updates" lately?

Re: How do I define path for a narrowing slot/groove?

I believe that 3D Surface should be able to handle the slopes. In general, or perhaps always, pockets don't follow sloping edges.

Re: Why is the Adaptive Path eating my part?

"Take it or leave it" advice loses value quickly. That is why I reacted the way I did. You basically told me to get lost. I can see that your method works, but it's not the most efficient, as it wastes a lot of stock. That is why I said read what I wrote. It is not at all necessary to &qu...

Of course you can! There are dozens of .FCStd files loaded to the forum every day.

because whatever I do I cannot get this on my toolbar
You can edit the toolbars and put all sorts of stuff on them.

Start with the Tools >> Customize menu and have fun. 8-)

Re: Requested number of lines warning

I have seen this in some files from others that I open. I see the comment when I open either sketch in your file. You have set a ridiculously small grid size of 0.001 in, so the number of grid lines needed to cover the sketch is very large. Either shut off the grid or pick a more suitable spacing. G...

Re: cross section to use in a sketch

The toolbars will expand only if there is some content that is hidden. This is indicated by the >> in the toolbar.

If you do not see the double chevron there is nothing else to show.

There are some items in the drop-down menus that do not have toolbar icons assigned.

Re: Move on sketch opens right click menu

I do not use the CAD mouse model, but I believe you need to press CTRL and RMB, and then release before moving. From the gif it looks like you are dragging with the RMB still selected.
