Re: Licensing your macros
But are you not suggesting a less protective license and as it's someone who might have absolutely no other recognition within the core code that has possibly spent days/weeks on a macro?TheMarkster wrote: ↑Sun Feb 11, 2024 5:53 pm Wouldn't FreeCAD's license be more appropriate for a default?

2) At the bottom right hand side as per screen shot (mine's set to TouchPad) you just click and change to whatever suits, it's CAD by default.

Re: Cannot import numpy in Windows build
NB GlitterBomb As part of some completely different testing, I had to install a fresh copy of 0.21.2 on my Win 7 partition and as a new user I got some very bizarre error about NumPy. So this is the procedure I followed, with FreeCAD closed down, opened File Explorer at the bin folder of the instal...

Re: ImageGUI DLL load failed.
mengrie with FreeCAD closed down, you are best manually deleting the Image folder (and all it's contents) under the Mod folder of your FreeCAD installation so for example the default is: C:\Program Files\FreeCAD 0.21\Mod The documentation for the new way of importing Images for planes is found at h...

Re: ImageGUI DLL load failed.
IIRC the installer offers uninstalling previous version before installing a new one Sorry, I've have to correct you on this, it doesn't ask the question of uninstalling, I installed for All Users and it just extracted over the top. The registry 'knew' I had a version of 0.20.2 and 0.19.4 and never ...

Re: dodo workbench error
ninoleum the error is know about and there's even a fix submitted https://github.com/oddtopus/dodo/pull/19/files which as it's a Python text file, you can make the change yourself by removing the lines with a red background and adding the lines with a green background. I've tried to raise the Dodo ...

Re: ImageGUI DLL load failed.
IIRC the installer offers uninstalling previous version before installing a new one. Besides that the default install location is versioned so you would have to choose yourself to install over an existing installation. I completely agree, I'll test an upgrade of 0.19.4 to 0.21.2 later on my Win 7 p...

Re: ImageGUI DLL load failed.
chrisb you've lost track of time (understandably) the Image workbench was removed during the 0.21.x dev cycle. The obvious reason for the error is the OP didn't mention they'd upgraded from an earlier version and the installer doesn't delete folders that already existed but aren't in the new versio...

Re: Sketcher current 0.22main issues toolbar
Good call, yep, when I change the setting that I have never ever needed to change, I can replicate the disappearing constraint text!!
