That is true, so maybe the solution is to remove "App::PropertySpeed" from the property panel entry boxes and use "App::PropertyFloat" instead.mlampert wrote:I think the feed rate is just a number and whatever unit the post processor sets is what is being used.

I submitted a bug report on Mantis about this: [bug]https://www.freecadweb.org/tracker/view.php?id=2890[/bug] In the p...

Re: Pocket through all?
Can you provide a use-case for this kind of pocket? It seems like profiling all the way through around the perimeter of a pocket would have the same effect since the remaining material would 'fall out'. Perhaps theres a case for pocket clearing to provide clearance for the spindle nose or avoiding ...

Re: FreeCAD UI Overhaul anyone?
I agree with a lot of what the OP lists. I now use Pro/E/Creo at work and sometimes use Fusion 360 at home (for assemblies) and see a lot of value in other ways of doing things. The 3D navigation cube is also used in Fusion 360 and is super useful. That would be a nice addition. The great thing abou...

I like the simpler helix- it's easy to see what it is. The latest does look like the McDonald's arches rotated

Here's a retouched version of the new icon in 16,24,32 and 64px on light, gray and dark backgrounds, original on left, proposal on right. Any feedback or ideas before I submit a pull request? spritesheet.png Could you put a flat bottom on that tool so that it's an end mill- not a drill? Drills can'...

Re: Strange users in the forum
FYI, I've been banning about 3 users a day as of late. The names seem to be computer generated and their posts are full of nonsense with links to sites selling viagra and other things interspersed. I see that others are banning about the same amount per day.

Ok. "ThomasTedsmall" is banned.NormandC wrote:Mods,
Have you not noticed that "ThomasTedsmall" has posted two utterly nonsense replies to two different topics and therefore must be some kind of spammer?
And I'm pretty sure I reported the afore mentioned reply already.

Pull Request- PATH: Some Gui::inputFields added
https://github.com/FreeCAD/FreeCAD/pull/396
I removed some QDoubleSpinBoxes that weren't unit aware and substituted in the custom FreeCAD Gui::InputFields in their place.
