I just started download of the Appimage. From what I read, that is simply run, not installed. Correct?

I clicked on the menu Macro / Macros , obtained the window, Clicked on "System Macros"tab, then clicked on"Addons", obatined the "Add-on Manager" window, then clicked on the "Macros" tab ... and that is where it hung !!! What I see is the image as attached. Wh...
