Re: Making Sense of Threaded Holes
how deep would it be safe to thread the holes? You are (pretty much) asking for mechanical engineering. Do you go to the internet and ask what kind of medications to take? I'm just kidding but at some point someone is responsible for what you are working on and we have no idea what is safe... I kno...

Re: Why is CurvesWB not built-in?
CurvesWB is my experimental playground. It's certainly not my place to recommend, but if your new playground happened to be replacing the Thickness tool. Even if it was Thickness-experimental, something in a macro that gives developers a starting place..... :) Thickness is such a POS for some model...

Icon issue, reusing a registered icon.
I'm trying to reuse a PartDesign Icon, the create Pad . I have attached my macro code. The macro works fine for a .XPM icon but I can't figure out how to get the PartDesign icon to show. It might be the PD icon is registered for PartDesign and I can't have access. I want the icon to connect my own c...

Re: pocket (or hole) not working on additive loft
Pabs,
I would like to look at this but there is no post telling what version is used to build this model, unless I missed it. There are about a dozen different version of FreeCAD that you could be using, both release or development.

Re: Sketcher - Where are icons Clone, Copy & Move
I was making copies and arrays of objects in a macro and I used the term "Pattern", maybe that fits in there somewhere. Maybe "Transform Pattern" or "Pattern/Move". The word pattern takes care of array, copy, clone.
I will try the multi-tool.
Thanks

Re: Sketcher Polar Array?
You can find the new Sketcher Rotate tool in 0.22 dev version I tried that tool and it worked but it is strange how the tool starts the rotate. It looks good once the rotate starts and I think it's a great addition. I need to read the docs to figure out the correct procedure to make it user friendly.

Re: Sketcher - Where are icons Clone, Copy & Move
IMO, Yes! put the Clone,Copy,Move back in until the new stuff is tested. It takes some time for these new options to be used in many ways the developer didn't predict. All the bugs need to be worked out of all the new changes so the next release cycle can be the Dev. version. Imagine if the Dev. ver...

If you really want chamfer, there is the sketched based chamfer. Pocket with a Taper added as a cutting tool.
