Re: Properties Editor
Ok! Thanks for the info Werner. The Qt style I use is one I did myself, but that particular color (the alternating color) stays the same, independently of the theme, so I supposed it was not part of Qt styling, but I see now it is, so I'll simply fix my theme. The darker group color that you did you...

Re: Rotation matrixes
Oho, you are right! (I had only tried the "default" planes until now) Probably somehow origin points get added twice or something. I'll have a look

Re: Sourceforge country restrictions
Hm you are right (besides, now with your copy & paste stuff it's easy to open another doc and paste its contents) but it would be handy to have a way to simply "drop" components into your document...

Re: drafting not working?
Alternatively, you should be able to use the python-pivy directly from the Debian servers which was built with the correct swig version. Yes, but the current package in debian uses python 2.5, while ubuntu uses 2.6. But debian is now switching to 2.6, and Teemu will build a new package soon, so I t...

Properties Editor
Hi there, I have a little problem with the property editor... You know, every two lines of properties, there is a different background color (light grey). It doesn't look too good when you use a dark Qt theme because the text is written in white. But I couldn't find where that "1 line = normal ...

Re: drafting not working?
Hi Victor, That swig/pivy problem is a serious problem since a very long time. Many other applications that rely on swig (a mechanism that creates python libraries automatically from C++ ones) suffer similar problems. In the development version of FreeCAD, Werner has found a way to hopefully kill th...

Re: Sourceforge country restrictions
Maybe it would be a good strategy, to keep the FreeCAD "core" minimal, and have a good, easy way to add stuff from within the application (the resource framework?) For example, is it all the robot workbench that has that license problem or only the kuka robots files? We could have the robo...

Re: New defaults at startup
Seems good to me... Indeed, "normal" users will probably want to have those options turned on by default... Only advanced users will want to turn it off if they want to gain speed.
