Re: Review of FreeCAD
Yes and no, as not too much time ago an user from India was complaining about mist if his models that he has done for his company were not working anymore due to a modification in FreeCAD. In this case improvement is a good thing or not? I care very much about compatibility, at least at file level....

Re: Review of FreeCAD
I think i'm a quite long but critical FC User. And i understand 100% the users that feel the frustration that improvements/ suggestions/ .../ complains are not heard. I agree fully that when asking for an improvement to often is said " It is intentionally " or i read " you are wrong &...

Re: FreeCAD and Stream Deck
What is Stream Deck? Not sure bu i expect that he means this: https://www.elgato.com/en/welcome-to-stream-deck I know it from live streams where multiple camera positions, or views are pre-set for a life stream for easy switching between them. for example: - presenter (cam pos 1) - powerpoint with ...

Re: [ Feature Request/Idea ] : ISO keyway tool (like Hole feature)
this Feature is mainly addressed for design in mechanical industry. I'm in the mechanical industry for years. but if i count the amount of times i need a keyway it is a few times in a year. If i do an average project in FC compared to Creo Parametric what i use by default FC takes at least 10% - 15...

Re: Python PD Programming Example rebuild
See Honeycomb, PDWrapper, Bevel, Joint macros as examples. I checked your macros. Is it correct that you mainly use Part features and add these in PD? I started the topic just because of that i want to use a PD workflow programmically and i can't find anything usefull. The strategy is essentially t...

Re: [Feature idea/development/request ]: Ability for PD to accept open sketch to create surfaces
I know i join late for this topic. I like the idea of creating open sketches, but not for surfaces. What i needed quite often in my work was creating extrusion profiles. When creating a extrusion profile it is quite normal to have a thin shape that more than once is not closed. For that kind of work...

Re: [ Feature Request/Idea ] : ISO keyway tool (like Hole feature)
I like the idea. Mainly every improvement within PD is another one!
But if i create a list of possible improvements is not in the top 10.

[FR] on FC Homepage
If on the FC Blog. There is no way to go from the blog back to the home page.
And home is the blog mainpage. So it would be great if the layout would fit in the general main page.
