Re: Cosmetic eraser is useless.
While you are working on the cosmetics: I would like to see them consistently available as other items in the tree as sub-items of the corresponding view. This is a whole different level of change vs removing a command from a menu. In the current implementation, cosmetics are not document objects s...

Re: Complex Section- Aligned type isue
The issue with the example is fixed by git commit 2712a98d47. I'm not convinced that ComplexSection works with every combination of SectionNormal & profile orientation yet, so if you notice any other anomalies, please speak up.

Github Issue re ClipGroup
[Problem] TechDraw : "Add view to clip group" should not be a tool. 12379 It seems reasonable to me to add/remove views from a clip group using drag/drop in the tree, but, as I commented in the issue, I never use clip group. If you have strong feelings either way, please make a comment her...

Re: Seeking guidance on how to remove all internet I/O from FreeCAD
I believe @chennes is looking into removing WebEngine and the Web WB (internal browser). Once those go, the add on manager will be the only piece of the core that tries to access the net(?). Some add-ons access the net to download component models.

I need to do quite a few boolean operations to get the shape I need - do boolean operations result in meshes being created? I don't know the answers to your questions a...

Re: Separating lines into different thicknesses on drawings
How can you see the contours lines are thicker and innerlines are thinner. I have added .csv file with LineGroups and selected soft lines in "visible" group options but my drawings still looks same. You should not need to add a csv file. The LineGroup.csv should be included in your distri...
